By participating in any workshops, activities, or events at Fuzz Lab Waco, you agree to the terms outlined below. These apply to all guests, whether booked online or visiting as a walk-in.

1. Assumption of Risk

All creative activities at Fuzz Lab Waco—including rug tufting, bear painting, whipped cream clay crafts, and more—may involve physical tools, equipment, and crafting materials. By participating, you voluntarily accept all risks and release Fuzz Lab Waco, its staff, and affiliates from any responsibility for injuries or losses related to your visit.

2. Release of Liability

You release and discharge Fuzz Lab Waco and its team from all claims, damages, or losses—whether known or unknown—arising from your participation. This includes personal injury, property damage, or accidental harm caused by use of studio tools, materials, or equipment.

3. Health & Medical Acknowledgment

You confirm you are in good physical and mental health and able to participate safely. Fuzz Lab Waco does not provide medical treatment or insurance.
If you have any conditions that may affect your participation, you agree to inform a staff member before beginning.

4. Responsibility for Minors

Parents and guardians are fully responsible for any minors they bring. Children must be supervised at all times, and participation is at the adult’s own risk.

5. Damage to Personal Property

Fuzz Lab Waco is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items. You are responsible for any belongings brought into the studio, including personal tools, electronics, and clothing.

6. Photo & Video Release

You consent to being photographed or recorded during your visit. Fuzz Lab Waco may use these images for marketing purposes without compensation.
If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please inform a staff member upon arrival.

7. BYOB Policy

Fuzz Lab Waco allows guests aged 21 and over to bring their own beer or wine during scheduled workshops. All guests participating in BYOB agree to comply with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code, City of Waco Code of Ordinances – Chapter 4, and the following conditions:

What’s Allowed

  • Beer and wine only. Liquor and spirits are not permitted.

  • Limit: 1 bottle of wine or 2 beers per person.

  • Alcohol may only be consumed during your scheduled workshop session.

Not Allowed

  • Liquor, mixed drinks, or spirits of any kind.

  • Sharing alcohol with minors under the age of 21.

    • Doing so is a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by up to a $4,000 fine, one year in jail, and a 180-day driver’s license suspension (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code §106.06).

  • Consumption outside of legal hours of public consumption, as defined by City of Waco Ordinance Sec. 4-6:

    • Monday–Saturday: 7:00 a.m. to 12:15 a.m.

    • Sunday: Noon to 12:15 a.m.

    • Fuzz Lab Waco is not located in an extended-hours zone.

Enforcement

  • Guests consuming alcohol must present valid government-issued ID upon request.

  • Public intoxication is not permitted. Anyone appearing intoxicated may be asked to leave the premises under Texas Penal Code §49.02.

  • Fuzz Lab Waco reserves the right to revoke BYOB privileges at any time to ensure guest and staff safety.

By bringing alcohol onto the premises, you accept full responsibility for compliance with state and local law and for your behavior while consuming alcohol at the studio.

8. Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling

We do not offer refunds for no-shows.
If you need to reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
Late cancellations may result in forfeiting your session.
In the rare event we need to cancel a workshop (e.g. low attendance or emergency), we’ll offer to reschedule or issue store credit.

9. Code of Conduct

We strive to keep our studio welcoming and respectful. We reserve the right to ask any guest to leave for inappropriate behavior, safety concerns, or intoxication—without refund.

10. Agreement

By visiting the studio, booking a session, or signing a waiver, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not participate in our workshops.
